Seavoy Nursing Home is an affordable nursing home located in Melawati and its vicinity. We are caring and clean and have some Chinese-speaking staff. We offer round-the-clock care and community activities to our healthy elderly residents, as well as close monitoring and management of bed-ridden seniors, and physiotherapy to stroke patients. Seavoy Nursing Home is different because it is run by a team of experienced physician, staff nurses and physiotherapists, and can thus provide expert care.

Upon arrival at Seavoy Nursing Home, Patient J, a 57-year-old divorcee, was in critical condition, reliant on a tracheostomy and ryles tube, with a medical history including hypertension, high cholesterol, and epilepsy. Thanks to dedicated nursing, physiotherapy, medication, and holistic rehabilitation, Patient J made remarkable progress, reclaiming his independence by walking, talking, and eating once more.

Mrs A, a 82-year-old lady, was admitted following a traumatic pelvic fracture. Upon arrival, she was bedridden and required comprehensive nursing care. The multidisciplinary team implemented a tailored treatment plan, including pain management, physiotherapy, and psychosocial support. Over the course of six months, her condition improved significantly. Physiotherapy sessions facilitated her gradual transition from bed to chair, and she eventually regained independent mobility. She was discharged, confidently walking, and engaging with fellow residents.

Mr. K, a 55-year-old man, suffered multiple injuries after being knocked off his motorcycle on the highway. His injuries included fractured ribs, clavicle, scapula, and intracranial bleeding, along with a spleen injury. Following a craniotomy for the cerebral bleed, he was admitted to Seavoy Nursing Home one month later. At admission, Mr. K had a tracheostomy and was bedridden, necessitating total nursing care and nutrition via a Ryles tube. As his awareness improved, he experienced feelings of depression. The multidisciplinary team provided comprehensive care, including speech therapy, gradual mobilization, and emotional support. After a month of intensive rehabilitation, Mr. K regained his ability to speak, walk, and eat. He was discharged, having successfully overcome significant challenges during his recovery journey.

Mr. Y was a resilient individual who sought refuge at Seavoy Nursing Home due to his struggle with schizophrenia, a condition that made home management challenging. Initially ambulant, he gradually started and faced the progression of Parkinson’s disease, rendering him bedridden. Despite these hardships, Mr. Y found solace within our walls for 26 years. Our dedicated nursing staff provided him with unwavering support, ensuring that all his needs and desires were met. As he peacefully passed away at the age of 71, we honour his memory and the enduring bond he shared with our compassionate team.

Mrs F., a 84-year-old female was admitted to Seavoy Nursing Home with a diagnosis of dementia. Over time, her thyroid condition worsened, and she was subsequently diagnosed with cancer at a private hospital.
